CONSOLIDATION AND EXPANSION

Element 29 was born from the consolidation of our Johannesburg and KZN smelting operations. This strategic decision allowed us to leverage the strengths of both operations and establish a brand new state-of-the-art smelting and downstream production facility in Johannesburg in 2018. Our immense smelting operation forms the foundation of our impressive annual production capabilities and capacity.

RAW MATERIALS

We are able to utilize selected primary and secondary copper-bearing raw material in our smelting process, sourced from South Africa and around the globe. With an established procurement and sourcing strategy, we ensure a steady supply of high-quality materials to support our production demands.

It begins with the careful selection and sourcing of selected primary and secondary copper-bearing raw materials. These materials undergo a meticulous sorting and preparation process to remove impurities, ensuring the purity of the final product. CASTING PROCESS
Element 29 employs casters to transform molten copper into solid forms.
